Keep
in mind that your audience is not homogeneous. You are dealing with
teenagers who want to make some money online, college students who want
to pay for their books or tuition, staying at home moms who want to
generate some income to help support their families, retired seniors
who need to supplement their retirement, and God knows who else.
This mix has different tastes, and if you want to make more sales or
grow your program downline you'll need to target all of those.
That's why you'll need to have more than one squeeze page to show your
audience. Therefore you'll need to design two types of squeeze pages;
plain text pages, and different mixes of graphics and text.
The plain text pages can be simply designed by setting your page as a
one-celled table with filling color different from the background. Type
your text inside that cell and format it as a title, subtitle,
description or bulleted lists, and action.
Graphics will need some more work. You can search google for private
label rights web designs or splash pages. Use those until you are
making enough money to hire a graphic designer.
In both cases you'll need an html editor (or a website builder)
software. You can get one of those for free: My
Free Website Builder, EverSoft, BlueVoda. They all come with a
package of templates that you can use.
