How to build your list
Safelists, text ads, and traffic exchange are marketing tools, and all members (including yourself) are marketers. If you can provide those other marketers with something that can help them with their marketing efforts they will be happy to give you their contact information in return.
Their response to your mailings depends on the quality of the help you'll give them. If they apply what you'll give them and see results you'll become their hero and you will gain credibility among your subscribers.
This credibility is important. When you want to buy anything you'll go to the website of a store you know and trust to buy from their. You don't want to give your credit card number to strangers. But when that stranger is recommended by someone you trust, it is a different story. So when your subscribers trust you they will consider buying from you or through your affiliate link.
Now how to do that?
- First of all get yourself a free webhosting account (you can find one here).
- Then design a splash page using the free tools and instructions included in this website.
- Include an opt in form in your splash page. You'll get that form from the autoresponder.
- Promote that splash page every where you can. The more places where people will see your page the higher the chance they will fill your form and join your mailing list.
PLRs (or Private Label Rights) can be a good source of information that you can include in your mailings to your list. To find PLR products related to any issue just do a Google search for the key words of interest + PLR or private label rights. If you don't want to be like every body else then you'll need to work on developing your own unique content.
If you choose an autoresponder that doesn't give you the follow up email option (like the free version of grab that lead), then consider giving your help to your list in the form of either a website or an ebook. You can get the PLR product in the form of an ebook, so that you just upload it to your webhosting and provide your list with the download link. And if you choose to make it a website you can monetize it with alternatives to Google ads (as Google became very selective nowadays).
